After Radha's service to Tulasi, the narrative continues. Krishna heard of her sincere devotion. He wished to visit her at Vrishabhanu's home. He did not arrive in the form everyone knew. He chose the appearance of a young gopī.

His ornaments and steps looked like those of a visitor. He came to the courtyard where Radha sat with friends. They welcomed the new arrival with kindness. Radha offered the visitor a place to sit. Their meeting began with attention and hospitality.

Outwardly it seemed a conversation among friends. But the reader knows who stands before Radha. Every glance and word takes on another meaning. Krishna listens as she speaks from her heart. Radha carefully observes the unusual guest.

In the source Krishna bears the name Gopadevi. Under that disguise He asks Radha about her feelings. She does not speak of a distant stranger. Her thoughts are always turned toward Krishna. The visitor hears that honesty directly.

Friends continue moving through the courtyard around them. Yet the conversation makes a quiet space of its own. Radha senses something remarkable about the guest. She need not reveal the whole mystery at once. She can answer with trust.

Krishna keeps the play of recognition alive. His question invites Radha to speak openly. She describes her closeness to Him. The disguise does not hide the truth of her heart. Instead it makes room for that truth to be spoken.

At last the visitor must leave. Radha wishes the conversation could continue. In the source Gopadevi promises to return at dawn. That promise extends their moment of closeness. The meeting leaves them looking toward another day.

This is not presented as their very first meeting. It follows the chapter about Tulasi and Radha's service. It belongs to a love the narrative already knows. The unexpected form gives it a playful shape. Radha and Krishna remain close beneath the disguise.

When a guest comes home, one first offers a seat. That simple courtesy opens the scene. Only then can the words grow deeper. An honest conversation fills a flowered courtyard. Recognition begins with listening.

After the visitor leaves, the courtyard looks the same. But Radha carries a new memory of that day. Playfulness and faithfulness are woven together. The promise to return keeps hope close. So ends this meeting told in the Garga Saṃhitā.
